For sale is a beautiful vintage Sennheiser MD 421-HL! The filter has been removed from the mic, and the original connector was updated to an XLR- type before I purchased this mic. This mic is equipped with a fully functional XLR output and would have been unbalanced originally, so this is a functional improvement to enable use in studio and low-noise applications. Solid low mids from this mic! The upper midrange bite makes it a good drum/guitar cab mic. It sounds great! Balanced frequency response for a vintage dynamic mic. Use this in place of an SM57 for vintage vibe. You won't be sorry. I purchased this microphone used 2 or 3 years ago and have used it many times in my non-smoking, climate controlled home studio. Selling because I need capital to build guitar amps. Purchase includes microphone, clip mount with small thread for stand, and zip-up case pictured
