22" K. Zildjian EAK (Early American K) Ride from the 1980s. For todays standard, it's a pretty heavy ride with a weight of 3360 grams, but it's exactly that amount of bronze with the typical EAK shape, lathing and heavy hammering style that gives this ride cymbal such a rich sound profile. Compared to other EAK rides and crashes, the bell is pretty flat. The good thing about that, is that the cymbal is less loud than you'd expect from a ride cymbal in this weight range.

It's dark, smokey, complex yet articulated. The stick definition is semi dry and a wooden touch and the sustain that follows is super rich in overtones and harmonics. Really a majestic cymbal and one of the nicest heavier weight 22" ride cymbals I've played!

The cymbal is in excellent condition. No keyhole, no rough spots around the edge. Just the patina, stick marks and some tape residu on the backside of the cymbal.

The cymbal can be shipped worldwide from the Netherlands. Please make sure to have a good look at all the pictures before making any purchase. Feel free to reach out for more info or detailed pictures.
