Groove Series are raw and aggressive, but extremely funky. Dirty Crashes feature uneven wobbly edges, deeply hammered pockets on the playing surface, they mix the sound of a big crash and china together, they are trashy, but warm enough to ride on. Curvy Crashes have less of an upturned edge than chinas delivering pang sound, they cut through with piercing crash, rideable with predominant mid-range tones and plenty of low end wash. Rides are situated more toward the wet, brasher end of the spectrum and they offer just enough brightness over the spread to clearly identify ride pattern. Bright, clear-sounding hats are versatile enough for any but the loudest setting, closing chick sounds are cutting enough for a medium-sized band, with a nice, smooth decay when splashed. These are very musical cymbals, and they work well across a variety of genres.
