A black L-2000 with a matching headstock!

G&L is a brand founded in 1980 by Leo Fender and George Fullerton. It's the last manufacturer to which Leo Fender, the father of the electric bass, poured his technology and experience.

Leo Fender developed the Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, Music Man, and StingRay, and then released this bass, demonstrating the versatility of his sound, drawing on his extensive experience.

This particular instrument is a USA-made L-2000.

It features an ash body and maple fingerboard.

It has a 2-pickup system that allows for a wide range of sound shaping, and the controls include Volume/Treble Cut/Bass Cut, a pickup selector switch, a series/parallel switch, and three mini-switches for passive/active/treble boost.

The EQ is set to a flat setting when fully open and can be used even in passive mode.

A clear and responsive sound forms the core of this bass, and its key feature is its ability to create extremely aggressive sounds, whether by thickening the sound through series connection or achieving a tight sound by using only the rear pickup.

While sharing elements with Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, and StingRay, this bass offers versatility and high playability!
