Lowden F35c Redwood Koa 2017

This F35C features solid koa back and sides combined with a solid redwood top, giving the instrument a warm and rich tonal character!

The ‘F’ model can best be described as Lowden’s Auditorium body shape, featuring a body that is only slightly wider and deeper than an Orchestra model. It is exceptionally well suited for fingerstyle playing thanks to its excellent balance, yet it also offers plenty of power and headroom for rhythm playing.

This F35C features solid koa back and sides combined with a solid redwood top, giving the instrument a warm, rich tonal character. In addition to these beautiful tonewoods, Lowden has added tasteful details such as wooden purfling and an abalone rosette.

The construction and finish of this F35C reflect the high standards we expect from Lowden. The guitar features their proprietary ‘Dolphin’ bracing and the distinctive five-piece GL Standard neck made from mahogany and rosewood.

This 2017 Lowden shows only minimal signs of play wear overall, mainly on the lower bout of the body and the pickguard. It already sounds more open than a new guitar and is impressively resonant. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes in a Hiscox case.
