Vintage 1970s Yamaki YM-400 with Original Certificate - Japan Vintage

Description:

Up for sale is a magnificent piece of Japanese acoustic history: the Yamaki YM-400. Crafted in the 1970s during the "Golden Era of Japanese Luthiers," this guitar is a testament to the high-quality craftsmanship that made Yamaki a legendary name among collectors.

"Bonus: Original vintage hang tag included! Highly sought after by collectors for its historical value."

Sound & Character: The YM-400 is known for its powerful projection and rich, woody resonance. With a solid Spruce top and high-quality Rosewood back/sides, it delivers deep lows and crisp, sparkling highs—perfect for both strumming and fingerstyle.

Condition: This guitar is in Good vintage condition. To be completely transparent, there is some visible clouding (milky finish) on the back and sides, which is very common for Japanese vintage guitars from this period. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the structural integrity or the incredible sound of the instrument.

  • The neck is straight and comfortable.
  • Frets have plenty of life left.
  • Ready to play right out of the box.
