ARC Studio from IK Multimedia in Italy is a stand-alone solution for acoustic room adjustment for stereo monitoring. The package combines a hardware DSP processor, the ARC 4 software and a precise MEMS meter microphone with matching clamp. IK's algorithm improves sub-optimal acoustic conditions that can otherwise result in poor mixing and mastering decisions. The resulting more natural and transparent sound leads to reproducible results. ARC Studio uses high-quality AD/DA converters for loss-free monitoring quality with a dynamic range of 120 dB(A) between analog input and output, a frequency response of 0.5Hz to 40kHz and excellent clock for extremely low jitter. The inputs and the connection to studio monitors are realized with balanced XLR connectors. These are equipped with a relay-based hard bypass (to avoid unwanted background noise).
