Up for sale is this very cool 5-string custom order fretless bass from ESP. It is one of the highest spec ESP basses I have seen, but still done in a tasteful way. The whole body is a beautiful flamed maple, from which the top has been carved into a shape reminiscent of a violin or cello, and finished in an amber color. This means the original top pieces were once likely multiple inches thick of figured maple! The fretboard is no slouch either -- a very dense ebony. Bartolini pickups. The single knob is a tone control.
Over the condition is good, but it is a vintage instrument with a dings and wear in the clear coat throughout, mainly on the sides and rear, ranging from "buckle rash" to some cracking. This is mostly limited to the clearcoat so the overall impression of the instrument is good, but you can see the imperfections when close up. These can be difficult to photograph so I recommend studying the photos closely. Additionally the back of the neck finish has been sanded down for smoother play.
I will include an ESP "the only real alternative" flight style case. The cases themselves are very rare and often ~$300. If you would prefer to not take the case, I could ship with the neck detached for a discount.
