This is a super cool Flying V, built by the Gibson Artist Relations division in 1998 for Antony Langdon of the British band Spacehog. The guitar at one point was in the possession of WeBuyGuitars, who contacted Gibson to have the backstory authenticated, and the guitar includes a letter from the company stating the authenticity. It seems as if it was a one-off instrument, built for the guitarists affinity for silver sparkle Gretschs!

This guitar is a road warrior, with players wear around the body. The silver sparkle finish has aged and yellowed a bit, and the silver reflectors are missing from the knobs, with a missing switchtip and the case has tour wear to it - with Spacehogs stage directions in duct tape on the front of the case. An interesting aspect of this guitar is that while it does indeed have an authentic Gibson serial number stamped onto the back of the headstock, due to the thick nature of the sparkle finish, the number becomes hard to decipher. The letter included with the guitar states this exact occurrence, however everyone agrees that this is one rare and very cool Flying V.
