For sale is a rare Carol-Ann Triptik 2 100W head, one of the harder-to-find high-gain boutique amplifiers from Alan Phillips / Carol-Ann Amplifiers.
Carol-Ann amplifiers are no longer in production, and Triptik 2 heads—especially the 100-watt version—do not come up for sale very often.
The amplifier is fully functional.
Included is the original Carol-Ann AC-4 footswitch/controller.
These amplifiers were built in very small numbers compared with mass-produced high-gain amps, and with Carol-Ann no longer manufacturing amplifiers, finding another Triptik 2—especially a 100W head—is becoming increasingly difficult.
A great opportunity for someone looking for a genuinely rare, hand-built boutique high-gain amplifier.
