For sale is a Fender Jazz Bass from 1977–1978, with serial number S844287.
The bass is in original, unmodified condition, retaining its original parts and electronics. A great example of a late-1970s Fender Jazz Bass, with the characteristic feel and weight of the era. As can be seen in the photos, the strings are perfectly centered and evenly aligned over the fingerboard. This is particularly nice on late-'70s Fender basses, where some examples can have noticeable string alignment issues toward one side of the neck. The neck, especially the headstock, features beautiful birdseye figuring, adding a particularly attractive character to the instrument.
