Tama Mastercraft Bell Brass BB-156 1980

Yes... This is an original Tama Mastercraft 14x6.5 BB-156 Bell Brass from 1980/81, not the recent reissue model.

This is a true collector piece, maybe the most iconic of all snare drums ever produced.

I am not playing that much loud music, this beast of power, rawness and sensitivity doesn't get played a lot, it's time that it goes in the hands of another drummer or drum gear freak who will pound the hell of it.

The drum is all original from what I know. It has patina (all ancient Bell Brass snares have) but no issues whatsoever : Roller Action strainer and original Mastercraft cast hoops, lugs, internal muffler and bolts.

Serial number is 114171, I am not sure if it's 1980 or 1981.

The wires were custom Mastercraft wires made by Zoran Bibin (the best wires in the world in my opinion). I can supply a set of Tama Mastercraft wires.

The shell is 3 mm thick bronze, sandcasted in Japan. Tama tried to recreate or emulate its sound with their newer reissue versions, using a different process (centrifugal cast).
