Vintage Selmer Solid Silver Handmade Piccolo Set *TWINS* C & Db for Repads

This listing is for a set of TWO Selmer solid silver handmade piccolos with gold springs in need of repads/overhauls to be in playing condition. Both are tarnished and are missing pads. The majority of the original gold springs, if not all, are intact though some are tarnished/cruddy. The lighter colored Selmer is from Elkhart and the darker one is a Selmer New York model. These handmade piccolos were Selmer's version of the Haynes handmade piccolo at a cheaper price from the ~1950s when quality surpassed quantity. The headjoints, bodies and keys are all made of silver. Scrap value is likely more than our asking price. No, we will not provide weights of these piccolos as they are far too good to be turned into a block. Both piccolos pre-date having a Bb trill key and have drawn, not rolled, toneholes. Both piccolos are fully complete and intact with all screws and keys, etc. No cases are included. Being sold as-is, in need of full repads/overhauls/restoration to be put in playing condition. Some springs need adjusting/replacing to work properly.
