This beautifully preserved Norlin-era Les Paul Standard is an outstanding example of Gibson's craftsmanship from the early 1980s. Dubbed a true "Case Queen," this guitar has clearly spent far more time safely stored than being played, retaining an exceptional appearance while showcasing the unmistakable tone, sustain, and feel that have made the Les Paul Standard one of the world's most iconic electric guitars.

Built with a solid Mahogany body, carved Maple top, and Mahogany neck, this Les Paul delivers the rich sustain, thick midrange, and singing lead tones players have relied on for decades. It has been upgraded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Humbuckers (SD-SHPG1N Neck and SD-SHPG1B Bridge), providing warm vintage PAF-inspired tone with outstanding clarity, sweetness, and dynamic response. The result is a guitar that excels at everything from blues and classic rock to jazz and modern recording applications.

Finished in classic Sunburst, this Les Paul has aged gracefully with only minor cosmetic wear, making it an excellent player's instrument with tremendous collector appeal. While mostly original, it features a few tasteful changes that enhance its performance without detracting from its vintage character.

This guitar comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

Condition: 9.4/10 - Excellent. Excellent for its age. Shows light aging on the hardware, a few small dings on the bass-side lower bout of the top, light buckle rash on the back, and a few small dings on the back of the neck. There is mild finish reaction near the cutaway. Overall, this is an exceptionally clean vintage Les Paul that has been very well cared for over the decades.
