The Roland System 100 Model 102 is the expander module of the legendary System 100 series. Designed to complement the Model 101, it adds a second complete analog voice with extensive patching capabilities, making the system significantly more powerful for layered sounds, duophonic patches, cross-modulation and experimental synthesis.

It features the same warm Roland analog character as the Model 101, with a stable VCO, musical 24 dB low-pass filter, envelope generator, LFO and a comprehensive CV/Gate patch panel. It can also be used as a standalone analog module with compatible CV/Gate equipment.
