Here's a glorious pair of Paper Thin Hihats that you will not find. They sound magnificent too.
Dark, lower-pitched organic EXTREMELY responsive.
These massive 16s" have very interesting craftsmanship - sandblasted unlathed, raw bell leading into a finely lathed Brilliant Finish plain and then the outer 2 inches matches the sandblasted bell. Perhaps they are crash cymbals - i’m not exactly sure - I’ve been using them as hihats because they sound incredible. Onurhan series.
The end result: a pair of massive, organic sounding dark and SMOOTH hihats with a pinch of shimmer on top. Even and sound awesome.
Weighing in at only 1069 and 1078 grams, these huge 16s" sound magnificent when splashed together with your foot, opened or closed.
