I’ve only swapped the potentiometer knobs for Gibson PRHK-030s. I think it looks better this way. The originals are inside the case.
Nick Page, in his new position as head designer of the Maybach Custom Shop, has created an absolutely cool guitar. Thanks to the mahogany body and glued-in mahogany neck, the Convair has a warm sound with rich lows and a decent amount of sustain. The ebony fretboard gives the sound a bright sweetness.
