I'm selling this late 70s, USA made Peavey Monitor 260 amplifier. Which is a simple, yet effective instrument amplifier. Sounds clear and heavy with guitar and bass too - as most vintage Peaveys!
The amplifier/power-supply and the preamp boards have been recapped with high quality components. Cleaned and lubed during the repair, pots and sockets connection has been reflowed. Has no issues, loud and clean tone without noise. Original, 220V "export unit", so it has the standard EU plug.
Main features:
- Line input - for use with external preamplifiers,
- Aux input - for direct instrument connection,
- 9 band graphic EQ - both channels could route to this section for further tone shaping,
- Line output - sending the preamp signal for additional power amps.
The tolex, the front and back panels are all in good condition, it has the usual rust spots around the metal parts but nothing too excessive. Two of the fader tabs are broken off, but fully functional.
