This is the Selmer SA80 Series 2 alto saxophone.
It boasts immense popularity as a classic model with a large following of devoted users.
It features the lustrous tone characteristic of Selmer and has excellent projection, making it suitable for any genre.
Additionally, this model comes with a gold-plated neck featuring luxurious engraving,
which creates slightly more resistance than usual, but in return, youfll experience a very rich resonance and power.
I believe this dense, full-bodied sound is unique to gold-plated instruments.
This instrument is in a practical condition, showing significant signs of use, such as scratches, lacquer chipping, discoloration, and rust resulting from normal use.
All frets have been replaced with new ones, and the instrument has been thoroughly adjusted, so you can enjoy playing it right away. The thumb hook has been replaced with a metal one.
