This incredible early-’80s Les Paul Custom represents one of Gibson’s most desirable eras, featuring the legendary craftsmanship, unmistakable styling, and iconic tone that have made the Custom a favorite among professional players and collectors for decades. This example is especially notable for its original Tim Shaw pickups, making it a highly desirable instrument for vintage Gibson enthusiasts.

The 1982 Les Paul Custom delivers the classic Gibson formula—powerful sustain, rich mids, smooth highs, and a thick, authoritative voice that excels across blues, rock, and hard rock applications. Condition: 9.8/10 - Excellent. Case Queen condition with only light play wear on the top and light pickguard scratches. There is some lacquer burn on the lower front and back binding from contact with a guitar stand. The back is exceptionally clean with only very light scratches. There is some finish discoloration on the lower back of the neck and some discoloration in the rear binding. Overall, an outstanding and very well-preserved example of an early-’80s Gibson Les Paul Custom.
