[Features] Kühnl & Hoyer is a German brass instrument manufacturer founded in 1948. Going beyond the traditional framework of German brass instruments, they have incorporated modern design philosophies into the precision of handmade instruments, creating worldwide instruments usable across genres.

A characteristic of the company is that, rather than sticking to one standard model for a long time, they revise and refresh their models at relatively short intervals to meet the needs of players and the changing times. Their approach of combining tradition and cutting-edge technology to create more user-friendly and highly refined instruments is a modern approach to craftsmanship that is also seen in companies like Yamaha.

This 139 OEe model is a discontinued model that was part of the Professional Series in the 2000s. It is a highly expandable large-bore tenor bass trombone with an open wrap design, an replaceable bell, and a replaceable mouthpiece pipe.

With a 220mm yellow brass bell, a 13.9mm wide bore slide, and a gold brass mouthpiece, the response is stable from top to bottom. Airflow is smooth, and the sound attack is natural. It boasts a rich dynamic range that can accommodate large ensembles, while maintaining a well-balanced feel that doesn't make it difficult to handle.

The sound is not simply heavy, but clear and high-quality. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, from wind ensembles and orchestras to smaller ensembles, and responds faithfully to the player's intentions.

This is a professional model typical of K&H, combining meticulous German handmade craftsmanship with modern playability.
