Up for sale is a vintage Sonor Performer rack / suspended floor tom, manufactured in West Germany in September 1985 (verified by the internal Sonor date stamp). ✔️
This specific 14"x12" size is a fantastic, punchy addition to any setup, offering the legendary Sonor build quality and that classic, rich German beechwood sound. ✔️

Shell Material: 6-ply German Beechwood (7mm medium shell provides incredible resonance, warmth, and low-end punch). ✔️
Hardware: Original Sonor Phonic rectangular lugs, heavy-duty chrome hoops, and the original "yellow swoosh" badge. ✔️
Finish: Original Midnight Blue. ✔️
Condition:The drum is in Very Good vintage condition.Shell & Bearing edges: Structural integrity is 100% perfect. Inside looks pristine with beautifully finished wood and the original 1985 date stamp visible. No cracks or separation; bearing edges are smooth and factory-original.Hardware: Chrome shows some minor pitting and light age-related surface scratches typical for a 40-year-old instrument, but everything is fully functional. All tension rods turn smoothly.Heads: Currently fitted with Remo heads. They show some signs of use but still have plenty of life left.Perfect for anyone expanding a vintage Performer/Phonic kit or looking for a killer, studio-grade beech wood tom from a highly desirable era of Sonor production. ✔️
