  Comments:   The D-25 was designed to be Guild's affordable, entry-level workhorse. It went on to become the best-selling model in the entire history of the company. When the Corona factory took over production, Guild returned to the roots of the original 1968 blueprint, opting for an all-mahogany body with a solid flat back, deviating from the arched backs of the late '70s, '80s, and ‘90s.
