Selling a vintage pair of Bower & Wilkins Matrix 805 passive speaker monitors in very good used condition.
These are the smallest speakers in the Matrix series, and used by many professionals for studio monitoring, including the legendary Steve Albini (RIP) at his Electrical Audio Recording in Chicago.
The tweeters were serviced in March 2026 and these 805s sound absolutely great.
One of the plastic snap-clips that attach the tweeter housing onto the cabinet has broken,
and it's now attached with 3M VHB double-sided foam tape, which works great as it doesn't leave marks and holds incredibly well. This is a known design error in the 805s and the snap-clips break off very easily, especially while in transit.
The speakers come with the original shipping carton box.
