Sonor Phonic 13,16,22 1975 - Purple wrap

I'm selling a great-sounding Sonor Phonic kit from 1975 (Sonor's 100th anniversary model).

For the past few years, it has been part of the Sound of Records Studio equipment.

It sounds like an old Sonor: a strong mid-range attack, uncluttered, but also lacking the overpowering brightness typical of older drums. We mostly used it for pop and rock songs. Currently, it's fitted with coated Remo Emperors, which give it a wonderfully old-school feel. For fans of powerful playing with a modern sound, it's hard to find anything better.

Technically, it's flawless for a drum over 50 years old. The tom dampers are in working order. The wrap and hardware have outlived their prime, but still function right. One of the bass drum tuning screws is not original, and one of the floor tom legs is missing the anti-slip rubber. Generaly it’s an old drum That have been in many places. You’ll definitely will be able to see it when it will come at your place.

The sale price does not include the tom stand or the additional Gretsch hoop shown on the 13" tom. (I will sell for an additional 50€).

Can be played at Rakowiec in Warsaw, Poland.

My idea for packing it for shipping is to took everything apart and put one drum into another. Please let me know if you want it to be packed differently. I will calculate the exact shipping cost for your idea.
