It sounds crazy, but during Guitar Show 2026, Jack Higginbotham came up to me and said, “I built this one, and it’s exactly identical to my 1986 guitar!” What can I say, of course I had him autograph it!

As usual, I always try to offer rare pieces in incredible condition!

This Standard looks like it just came out of a time machine: 40 years old, guys!

It sounds absolutely killer!

1987 means Brazilian rosewood — and we love that!

This is not just a guitar — it’s a piece of early PRS Guitars history.

The golden early years in Annapolis; this Standard 24 represents everything that made PRS legendary: craftsmanship, tone, and vision.

The Standard features a solid mahogany body, giving it a warmer, woodier, more focused midrange voice — incredibly resonant and alive in your hands. Plugged in, it delivers that unmistakable late-’80s PRS character: clarity, punch, and sustain for days.

The early T & B pickups paired with the classic 5-way rotary switch offer a wide tonal palette, from articulate cleans to thick, singing lead tones. Whether you’re chasing vintage rock, fusion, or expressive high-gain sounds, this guitar responds effortlessly!

Completely untouched, even the electronics are original, and it comes with the original case!
