Electro-Harmonix Flanger / Filter Matrix – 1978 First Generation (Not Deluxe Electric Mistress)

Original Electro-Harmonix Flanger / Filter Matrix, the standalone first-generation model that predates the Deluxe Electric Mistress. This is not a Deluxe Electric Mistress.

This early version is identifiable by its dual outputs (Flanged Out and Direct Out) and the absence of any “Electric Mistress” branding. Later Deluxe Electric Mistress models use a different circuit and naming.

Potentiometer date codes read week 49 of 1977, consistent with early 1978 production. All major components appear original. Cosmetic wear is consistent with age—please see photos.

A rare and short-lived Electro-Harmonix model from the very beginning of their flanger history.
