This is a new solid Brass Backplate that will fit the Gibson SG - Vintage 90s + style. 4 Holes. It has a satin finish, easy to keep clean or left to age. The brass is a sturdy 1/16" thick. It IS also going to make the electrics sound better from the Brass shielding. if you like the plastic part you have stick with it. you will never know what you are missing.
