The AKG BX 5 is a compact Stereo Reverberation Unit utilizing the patented Torsional Transmission Line principle (TTL). lt possesses the exceptional sound qualities inherent in our BX 20, BX 15 ond BX 10 Reverberations Units, but is compactly designed in a rackmount configuration.
The BX 5 is a single transmission line system with stereo inputs and outputs/ both being balanced, and levels and impedonces are fully compotible with those commonly used in broadcasting and recording.
High reverberation quality is assured through the patented
AKG Torsionol Transmission Line system, with highly smooth
reverberation characteristics made possible by a series of
springs whose tronsmission properties have been controlled
by statistical variations of the spring parameters.
Musicians, performers and recording-enthusiasts familiar with the sound of "typical" spring reverberation units, will find the BX 5 an affordable addition to their equipment which for surpasses the sound heretofore available in this price range.
