No Name Schrammelgitarre ca. 1900 - natur

Das nächste Instrument in meiner Sammlung ist diese wunderschöne Schrammelgitarre. Sie wurde vermutlich um 1900 in Markneukirchen gebaut, ich habe sie 2007 gekauft und bin mit ihr etwa fünf Jahre lang intensiv getourt, unter anderem beim Harp Guitar Gathering in den USA 2007 und 2009.

Die Gitarre hat sechs Gitarren- und sechs Basssaiten. Der "Gitarrenhals" hat 18 Bünde und einen Nullbund, die Mensur beträgt 64 cm, der Korpus setzt am 12. Bund an. Die Saitenlage habe ich sehr flach einstellen lassen, so dass die Gitarre sehr komfortabel zu spielen ist. Die Mechaniken sind original und funktionieren einwandfrei.
Zwei Wirbel der Mechanik für die Basssaiten waren beim Kauf defekt. Da alle sechs Wirbel auf einer Grundplatte sitzen, habe ich die Mechanik bei Rubner komplett erneuern lassen. Jetzt lassen sich die Basssaiten leicht und exakt stimmen.

Außerdem habe ich mir von meinem Gitarrenbauer zwei aktive L.R.Baggs-Tonabnehmer einbauen lassen. So kann man Gitarren- und Basssaiten getrennt an einen Verstärker oder Mischpult anschließen und Lautstärke und EQ individuell einstellen.

Da die Gitarre mit mir weit gereist ist (ich hatte sie auch auf einer Kreuzfahrt mit der M.S. Europa bis nach Tahiti dabei), habe ich mir von einem Berliner Casebauer ein extrem stabiles Case maßschneidern lassen.

Die Gitarre ist optisch in einem dem Alter entsprechenden Zustand. Die Decke ist durch den Saitenzug eingefallen, aber das war schon beim Kauf 2007 so und hat sich seitdem nicht verändert.

Von der Bespielbarkeit her ist es aber ein absolut professionelles Instrument, das alle Ansprüche an eine authentisch aussehende und klingende Schrammelgitarre erfüllt.

Da das Case leider die maximalen Maße von DHL und UPS übersteigen, kann ich es nur als Sperrgut verschicken. Daher sind die Versandkosten höher als üblich.

The next instrument in my collection is this beautiful Schrammel guitar. It was probably built in Markneukirchen, Germany around 1900, I bought it in 2007 and toured with it intensively for about five years, including at the Harp Guitar Gathering in the USA in 2007 and 2009.

The guitar has six guitar strings and six bass strings. The “guitar neck” has 18 frets and a zero fret, the scale length is 64 cm, the body starts at the 12th fret. I had the string action set very flat so that the guitar is very comfortable to play. The machine heads are original and work perfectly.

Two pegs of the machine head for the bass strings were defective when I bought it. As all six pegs sit on a base plate, I had the machine head completely replaced by Rubner. Now the bass strings can be tuned easily and accurately.

I also had my luthier install two active L.R. Baggs pickups. This allows you to connect the guitar and bass strings separately to an amplifier or mixing console and adjust the volume and EQ individually.

As the guitar has traveled a long way with me (I also had it with me on a cruise on the M.S. Europa to Tahiti), I had an extremely sturdy case made to measure by a Berlin case maker.

Visually, the guitar is in a condition commensurate with its age. The top has collapsed due to the string tension, but this was already the case when I bought it in 2007 and has not changed since.

In terms of playability, however, it is an absolutely professional instrument that meets all the requirements of an authentic looking and sounding Schrammel guitar.

As the case unfortunately exceeds the maximum dimensions of DHL and UPS, I can only send it as bulky goods. Therefore the shipping costs are higher than usual.
