I am selling my beloved Tobias Growler.
This is one of the older Tobias Growlers, with single volume, balance, two stacked bass/treble controls and two toggle switches. The pickup and EQ are from Bartolini and are designed specifically for this bass. The preamp is 18V and switchable and adjustable in many ways!
It's a very comprehensive setup that offers a separate EQ for each half of the quad-coil MM52CBJD3 pickup. This pickup is specially designed for this bass!
As far as I know it was made around 1996/1997 in Nashville.
The bass has an asymmetrical neck that is very comfortable to play. It is a design where the neck is thinner at the bottom than the top.
The action is set very low, the strings feel very comfortable and the bass just sings in every register: high and low! Clear, fat and growly.
This bass is very easy to play and weighs only 4 Kg! And the balance is just perfect.
It is a beautiful quality instrument and an absolute joy to play! Original gig bag is included.
