The Purple and Orange Fruit Fuzz (PAOFF) is an original circuit we have been developing on the workbench. Now its ready for you. On the back is a switch to select your favourite setting. The PAOFF has gain to spare and when you think its finished it comes back for more. The PAOFF just keeps on giving. Naturally we have included a 9V power socket to give you a choice of mains or battery power. The PAOFF provides true bypass.
She sings to you. The PAOFF has full width rubber feet that are removable for your pedal board. The PAOFF is compact so that it does not take up much valuable space on your board.
The volume control and the single switch are on the back, this keeps the top of the Fruit Fuzz free for the footswitch so you won't move the volume control or switch by accident.
This pedal is handmade in West Sussex,UK by Graheme Wilson who built his first fuzz box in 1969.
This is a one off, Graheme has confirmed that he will not build this custom circuit using this case again. It takes a lot of work to construct this effect. There is no production line, no row of identical boxes following each other in neat ordered rows.
What there is a lone craftsman making effects the same way he used to forty nine years ago. He does everything himself from designing the unique "sand blasted" typeface to soldering the handpicked components and assembling and testing the final unit.
The FXs you choose say a lot about you. Are you too busy trying to sound like ten other guitarists to discover your own sound?
The next time you look down at your feet at a gig what do you see? A cheap knockoff or a custom FX designed and built by a veteran UK craftsman?
