First brought to life in 1971, this classic bass returns to the battle field with a thunderous tone and a short 30.75” scale length. An extremely comfortable playing instrument which delivers smooth mids, earth shattering lows and ample sustain due to its set neck construction and the use of mahogany throughout the neck and body. 
Taking the same original concepts from its 6-stringed brother, the Swede bass features a 3-Way tone switch, which offer bassists the ability to switch from earthy tones to death defying lows at the simple flick of a switch. Want a little more mid-range, less highs, and enough subsonic bass to rattle the stadium seats? A simple flick of the 3-way tone switch to its lower position will take you there! 
Borrowing pickup specifications from the renowned Viking Bass, these altered pickups will please players looking for both classic and modern tones. The Swede Bass also includes the same legendary tailpiece design as found on the Swede guitar which improves tone and sustain.
