Ibanez ATK305 Amber solid ash body, rock maple neck/ modified electrics

Too many Bass guitars so I need to lighten the load. This ATK series is the original make from mid 90''s. It has the pick guard removed......low action, maple fretboard, smooth frets,  solid construction.

This is a relisting as we allowed the previous buyer to return it for credit as the active electronics did not work properly. Our service tech removed the non-functing "Active" components and installed new passive ones. The result is that there is now one tone and one volume control with all pick-ups working together; we left the other 2 nobs and selector switch for cosmetic appearance. 

We think it actually sounds better than with the active electrics! Our opinion of the original electrics was there there was very little difference among the 3 settings in any event. 

The Ibanez ATK305 electric bass has all of the attack and power of it's big brother, the ATK700, but with a more affordable price. It features a light ash body and a super-powerful ATK triple coil pickups. Pickup placement and controls accommodate all styles of play.  Serial #C5032756.
