This is the Martin 00015M 14 fret. What sets this guitar apart is that the body, top, and neck are made entirely of real mahogany, rather than sapele like its predecessors from earlier years. Another nice detail is the rosewood fingerboard inlaid with a Diamond & Square abalone motif, just like you see on Martin's vintage series.The guitar features a fully solid construction, and the mahogany body feels very pleasant to the touch thanks to the matte finish. The compact 000 body ensures a very comfortable playing experience thanks to its compact size. A notable detail is the scale length; whereas regular Martin 000 models have a shorter 632 mm scale length, the 00015 has a longer scale length of 645, giving the guitar more punch and clarity.Further quality features include a bone nut and saddle, beautiful vintage-style open Grover tuning machines, a vintage-style rosette and old-style CF Martin logo headstock decal, and the beautiful matching tortoise plastic pickguard. A warm-sounding personality that plays very pleasantly and holds its own on stage and in the studio!This 2021 Martin 00015M is in excellent condition. The guitar shows light signs of wear in the form of polished lacquer on the armrest, on the bass side of the strings, and on the back of the neck, but is otherwise very clean. The guitar has an open and broken-in sound, and plays very smoothly.This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier.
