About this listing
This is a super cool and very hard to find Japanese Domestic Epiphone LPS-80 Les Paul Standard! This guitar comes from the short period in between the Orville guitars, and later Epiphone Elite/Elitist lines. The neck has a comfortably slim profile and the PAF style humbuckers sound great.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body and a small finish chip located on the lower body along the binding. The back of the neck and headstock show additional scuffs and scratches as well. The holes from the previous tuners are still visible on the back of the headstock. The pickup rings have small cracks but remain in tact and the binding around the neck and body has yellowed from over time. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickguard, pickup covers, Grover tuners, and strap buttons have been added. Some of the electronics have also been touched up over time. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured OHSC.
