About this listing
Blackstar HT-5 Head
Compact Tube Tone. Studio-Friendly Power. Classic Blackstar Versatility.
The Blackstar Amplification HT-5 Head became one of the most popular low-wattage tube amps of its era thanks to its ability to deliver genuine tube feel and high-gain performance at practical volume levels. This is the sought-after first version of the HT-5, known for its straightforward layout, warm voicing, and excellent balance between home, studio, and rehearsal usability.
Powered by a real tube preamp and power section, the HT-5 produces everything from clean British-inspired tones to saturated modern overdrive with impressive dynamics and touch sensitivity. Its compact size makes it ideal for recording setups, apartment use, or smaller live rigs while still retaining the feel of a much larger amplifier.
One of the standout features is Blackstar’s ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control, which allows players to blend between more American-style and British-style voicings for a wide tonal range.
