Letting go of the one and only… Legendary AKG C12 Tube Microphone (#5 I am offering Here) - Serial Number - 668- This is an original 1950’s AKG C12 w/ its original brass ring CK12 capsule in great condition, 5 star GE 6072A tube , T14/1 transformer, Custom Peak N12 power supply with pattern selector and original swivel cable. This is a beautifully cared after GEM of a microphone. There is nothing like the beautiful sound of a C12. The upper air is rich with Harmonics, maybe the most natural sounding of them all.. the mid range is incredibly transient and forward, almost jumping off the speaker The low end is fat a full. Revered by the best of the best singers and producers since its release in the mid 1950’s these mics come available less and less these days. Here’s your shot to own an absolute classic!
