Well if you want a classic, there's nothing more classic than this! A fantastic very early 1952 Fender Precision Bass. This one being in the classic Blonde finish, this has had a full refinish in the past. It is in very good condition considering its age. The serial number dates to 1952 and the neck dates to 21 November 1951. The neck has a TG stamp and D stamp on neck and body, the TG stands for Tadeo Gomez was one of the famous early craftsmen at Fender.

The pots are original, black ink stamp can be seen on one, the other is covered with solder but looks to be original too. The capacitor has been replaced. There has been more recent soldering on the pots as can be seen. The pickup has been rewound/reworked by Kent Armstrong and looks to have had the baseplate replaced, the original is also in the case with a 'reworked by Ken Armstrong' sticker on the underside. It has had replacement steel bridge saddles fitted as appose to the original pressed fibre ones. This one features a mix of flat head and cross head screws which was common around '52 as this was a crossover point. Everything works as it should including trussrod, electronics. Included is a Hiscox hardcase.
