2x Ibanez Super 70 Humbuckers (Maxon, 1978) – Original Box – Made in Japan

For sale are two original Ibanez Super 70 humbuckers, manufactured by Maxon in Japan in 1978.

Both pickups come with their original Ibanez boxes and feature the classic Zebra (Black/Cream) bobbins. They appear to be in excellent vintage condition. Please refer to the photos to assess their cosmetic condition.

Important condition note: The original black bobbin cover ("gap cover") for one of the pickups is cracked. The original cover is included, and an additional thicker white replacement bobbin cover is also included (please see the photos for details).

The Super 70 pickups are highly regarded for their clear, articulate tone, balanced output, and rich harmonic character. They were used in many of Ibanez's most desirable Japanese guitars from the late 1970s and remain highly sought after by collectors and vintage guitar enthusiasts.
