1965 Fender Champ Amp AA764 – Blackface

We present an all original NOS 1965 Fender Champ Amp AA764 – Blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.

Condition

This historical ’65 Champ Amp is one for the collectors. This is a completely NOS (New Old Stock) condition 1965 Champ Amp AA764 that comes with the original black leather cover and the original cardboard shipping box with matching serial number on the side. This is super desirable and very rare to find it in NOS condition with matching shipping box. Furthermore it comes with the original envelope featuring 3 Fender Catalogs and a schematic/layout sheet.

This amp has been stored in a collection since it was bought brand-new back in the days and it tells! It looks new and has never been played. Collectors item for sure! It is very rare to find an example this well preserved. A true studio favourite, it delivers incredibly dynamic and glassy tube tones.

Originality

This 1965 Champ features the original AA764 circuit that  is all original throughout – 100% untouched, just as it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965. It comes with the original 8″ Oxford (Fender) speaker. All transformers are original as well. Comes with the original 2-prong power cord.

To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is required for use in Europe. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
