Brought to life with the team at Dave Smith Instruments (now Sequential) the OB-6 has become a modern classic for its balance of size, features and sound.
As a past owner of both an OB-8 and later OB-X8 my personal experience is that the OB-6 is way more interesting in a modern studio — mainly for its broader palette and modulation and not to forget analog distortion circuit.
