A beautifully resonant and great-playing late-70s Fender Jazz Bass with the unmistakable punch, growl, and authority these Northern Ash instruments are known for.
This bass started life in 1978 and retains all the important sonic ingredients:
original pickups, original electronics, original tuners, original ashtray bridge cover, and the classic ash/maple-era construction that defines the late ‘70s Fender sound.
The bass has been professionally restored and carefully optimized for playability while respecting the original character and specifications.

Condition
The bass has some marks, dings, and signs of use on both the neck and body consistent with age, but overall presents very well and has a fantastic vintage look.
Sound & Feel
This is a very lively and acoustically resonant Jazz Bass with the classic aggressive late-70s Fender character:
tight lows, punchy low mids, articulate highs, and excellent note definition.
The refret and setup make it surprisingly easy and fast to play for a heavy ash Jazz Bass from this era.
