THE LAST ONE IN STUCK
Hand craftsmanship and early German high-end microphone engineering. MBHO (Mikrofonbau Haun), founded in the 1960s, built microphones with exceptional attention to acoustic accuracy and mechanical reliability. With close connections to chops and German system, The MB 215 Is one of their dynamic designs, following the D19 architecture but offering a superb condenser-like openness and reach while maintaining the stability and natural behavior of a passive dynamic capsule and classic design

The MB 215 features a compact handheld design typical of professional German broadcast microphones. Its construction focuses on durability and acoustic precision. The original design follows closely the D19 family lines - and terminates with a small Tuchel connector
Capsule
The microphone uses a high-quality moving-coil dynamic capsule, engineered for accurate and detailed signal capture. These MBHO capsules are known for their unusually extended high-frequency response and fast transient behavior, giving them a clarity more commonly associated with condenser microphones.
The capsule remains in excellent functional condition and performs at full expected sensitivity.
Circuit
Passive dynamic moving-coil design with transformer-balanced output. No external power required.
