1965/66 Fender Musicmaster II in Dakota red.
I would describe this as a player grade, as don’t know full history. Not sure if refinished or just time has made it satin as hints of gloss in places.
on the front it looks like wood has been filled or another body pressed together. It’s visible in photos and wanted to highlight.
Neck feels nice and have shown Fender date stamp for 1965, though serial plate is for F series 1966, but that was common I believe.
Electrics/wiring are not original and I replaced tone cap. Like all guitars, it will need a decent set up, but plays fine and sounds pretty nice.
Comes in original Fender case, which shows its age, with scuffs, marks, top lid left end slightly split and missing centre non-locking latch, but functional and collectible in itself.
