Tusc CF 50 1980

Great amp, American (Clifton, NJ) made, both a bit rare and groundbreaking. It’s got a parametric EQ that actually works as does its effects switches. I had her serviced a little over a year ago, but she hasn’t seen any other action than tonight.

Admittedly, I am a Volume, Bass, Treble and Reverb ‘effects’ guy… ‘meat and potatoes’ fella, so to speak, so I haven’t the time or interest to assess all this amp’s capabilities are. I just know they make different tones and to me, that means they work.

As you can see, this was a combo and I wrapped the new base, rustically, with stained and lacquered curly maple. With the sale comes the original Tusc speaker cover.

She sounds great overall and the reverb dimed, sounds like you’re in a wildly deep well. Turn it down a little though and it’s not deep at all, but perfect for just a little color.

I’ll travel pretty far from NJ’s central coast to deliver, but I will ship too.
