Here’s a Fender Stratocaster Roland Ready from 2012, a slightly different take on the classic Strat for players who like to explore a bit beyond the usual sounds.

At its core it’s still a proper Fender Stratocaster with the familiar feel, three single-coil pickups and classic Strat tone. But this model also comes with a built-in Roland GK pickup and 13-pin output, meaning it can be connected directly to Roland guitar synth systems like the GR-55 or VG-99 for a whole world of additional sounds.

So you can play it like a normal Strat through your amp, or hook it up to a compatible Roland unit and access synth sounds, alternate tunings and guitar modelling.

The guitar comes with a hardcase, missing the backplate.
