The RG8570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was also referred to as the JCRG-80. It was produced in Japan by Fujigen as part of the high end J Custom line and was offered for sale exclusively in Japan.
The RG8570 features a flame maple top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with flame maple binding and offset mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG8570M is a very similar model with a maple fretboard. The RG8520 is another similar model which lacks the middle pickup. The RG8670 is a similar model but with an ebony fretboard with a Tree of Life inlay and violet chrome hardware. The RG9570 is another similar model but with neck-through body construction, an ebony fretboard and cosmo white hardware.
