This is a 1974 D28.
The pickguard appears to have been replaced. Additionally, the last three digits of the serial number engraved on the neck block have been erased and are illegible.Weather checking due to age is present across the entire body, but there are no noticeable scratches, dents, cracks in the wood, or associated repair history. There is no history of pickup or strap pin installation. The frets are also well preserved.
The neck features a non-adjustable square truss rod. The neck condition is normal, the string height at the 12th fret is 3mm for the 6th string and 2.5mm for the 1st string, with the saddle height being approximately 1mm.
It produces a calm sound with a boosted low end on the 6th and 5th strings and a rich, mellow mid-to-high range.
It comes with a TKL hard case designed for Taylor guitars.
