VINCENT BACH CORP., NEW YORK #7 cornet mouthpiece. Notice the "period" and the "comma" after CORP., - this indicates that it was made in the 1940s.
You may not need a cornet mouthpiece, but the top can be threaded and fitted with a trumpet shank (Warburton-style, for ex.) Just an idea.
Normal plating wear for an 85 year old mouthpiece. Minor surface scratches on the rim. Not noticeable on the lips.
Original #26 (or tight #27) throat and backbore. The vertical line inside the cup indicates that this mouthpiece was copied by a professional.
The rim and cup combination from this era is highly sought-after.
